DIY Dog Collar.

My mother and I were going through our craft supplies this past weekend and we came across this old belt. As the true crafters we are, we knew there was something we could do with it. We decided that a dog collar was the best decision. Here is how I made it. (Keep in mind this is a decorative collar, I don't actually attach the leash to it.)

These are the supplies you will need to make this collar.

First measure how much you need to cut off so that it will fit your dog. I made mine nice and loose.

Cut along the edge on one side so that you can fold it over and get a clean finish once it's glued.

Then I decided where to place the holes.

Once you have decided where you want to holes, take a screw and start screwing till it goes all the way through. I did this a couple of times on both sides so that it would go smoothly through.

Next you'll want to layout where your embellishments will go.

Once those are glued on with a strong glue ( I used E-6000) you are done! Of course make sure that the glue it thoroughly dry before putting the collar on your dog.

Isn't she adorable? ;)

Thanks for stopping by! Have a wonderful day!

Pinterest Fall Favorites.

I know it's only the middle of August, but I can't help thinking about Fall weather and Fall fashion. So today I'm sharing some of my favorite Fall Pinterest outfits.

I just love this green dress. The buttons and skinny belt are perfect.

Birds and stripes, what's not to love?

This would be perfect for those Fall days that are chilly, but not enough to wear a sweater. This is would also be perfect of running errands.

One word: Orange! I *Love* this dress.

This lacy green dress is fabulous. The belt is oh so perfect.

This casual outfit is simple yet lovely.

If you want to follow me on Pinterest you can do so Here. Have a wonderful day!

My Favorite Pieces - Earrings.

I've been wanting to post about some of my favorite pieces for awhile, but haven't gotten around to it till now. Today I'm going to focus on earrings.

I got these last year (?) at Old Navy for around $8.

These next three came in a pack that I got at Kohls. I believe the brand was Mudd. They were on sale! Yay. :D

This pair is definitely my "Go to" pair. The soft pink goes with almost everything.

My mom got these years ago, so I don't know where they come from. :P

Same goes for these.
This pair was my grandmother's. I just love the purple\periwinkle!

Now these are for when you need some fun earrings.. Sushi anyone?
