First off, I love this owl sweater. I would wear this outfit for going shopping, because it's comfy yet stylish. And if you're feeling patriotic during the colder months this is a good way to wear some red, white, and blue without it being too obvious. ;)
One word: Lace. The lace makes this outfit girly while the sweater keeps it from being too dressy.
